At the destination?
They had reached their destination: Arras. The day before, they had been able to catch a glimpse of the city from a distance several times, because the city was located in a valley and the path ran partly above it, offering a clear view of Arras in some places. Reaching the destination of a trip offered the opportunity to think about whether the trip itself was more exciting or the destination. Of course, it depended on many factors. Arras was not a very big city. Compared to Kai and Jan's hometown, it was, but you could easily walk through the city in just over half an hour. But it was a very densely built-up city with many shops, because people tended to live in surrounding villages rather than in the city. After they had settled into a small guesthouse, they spent the first two days of their stay looking around in different shops. They didn't plan on buying more than a few small things, but since they were already there, it was only natural to look at everything that seemed interesting.
That day they went to the citadel, which was small and only partially used. Used as a market place for art objects or, if you like, special everyday objects. Jan was of the opinion that they would definitely find a nice gift to bring home. Since then, Kai had been imagining strange-looking vases and wasn't entirely convinced about the nice gift idea. He was therefore relieved when he saw more normal mugs and cups at the first stalls, which were painted more or less conspicuously instead of being plain. But they then agreed on a small sculpture. It depicted a small dog, only about half the size of Kai's hand. Sitting and the dog seemed to be looking at you questioningly. They thought it was funny. They could have bought one or two more objects, but of course their means were limited and they had to take everything back. The small dog sculpture was no problem in that respect. They spent the next two days looking at parts of the city that they hadn't yet visited and also took a short trip to the surrounding area. They spent the whole time discussing what name they should give the dog. Not that it made any particular sense, but they came up with lots of possibilities. They finally agreed on Prokyon.
More randomly i decided to only use the short intro soundtrack as the music. For the gallery video. And 2 Photos, so jpgs, of drawings are the art content.
